How to Create a Customizable Contact Form Widget
Allow users to get in touch by adding a simple or advanced contact form.
A contact form is essential for user feedback and inquiries. Blogger provides a simple built-in solution, but for more complex needs, third-party services are a great option.
Method 1: Blogger's Contact Form Gadget
This widget is the quickest way to add a contact form. It includes fields for Name, Email, and Message. Submissions are automatically sent to the blog administrator's email.
Simply add the "Contact Form" gadget from the Layout dashboard to any section. It is often placed on its own static page titled "Contact".
Method 2: Embedding a Third-Party Form
For advanced features like file uploads, conditional logic, or integration with other services, you can use a form builder like Google Forms, JotForm, or Tally. These services provide an HTML embed code that you can paste into an HTML/JavaScript widget.
Pro Tip
While you can style the built-in contact form with CSS, you cannot add or remove fields. If you need custom fields, a third-party service is the best choice.
